[推荐]福建猎头网-德科:英国临时员工因为糟糕的招聘实践导致就业受阻

(2016年12月20日,/HRoot.com/)根据德科零售(Adecco Retail)的一项新研究,在英国,因为临时员工的热情被糟糕的招聘实践所影响,对许多雇主来说,临时劳动力仍然是未被开发的资源。临时员工很乐意在其生活中关键时刻接受这种就业解决方案,但如果得到雇主更好的支持,其工作体验会获得改善。

该研究发现,63%的临时员工表示临时工作能够提供灵活性,有机会获得新的技能以及实现工作与生活的平衡。然而,研究还发现,临时员工经常有消极的工作体验,固定员工团队正在影响他们的士气,也可能影响他们的绩效。69%的临时员工担心职位的不确定性,33%的人感到没有舒适的休假,27%的人认为缺乏培训机会。只有13%的人表示他们与固定员工享有相同的福利。

“临时工是英国劳动力一个非常有价值的部分,”德科零售总裁Alex Fleming说。随着工作年限的延长,以及‘终生职业’概念的式微,在漫长的职业生涯中临时工作更可能获得灵活性。临时工作不仅是因为灵活性能获得高度的吸引力,也会通过合同工的角色为员工提供机会来提升技能和体验。”

这项调查包括德科数据库中1,000多名临时员工。

(Dec.20, 2016, /staffingindustry.com/)The temporary workforce in the UK remains a largely untapped resource for many employers as worker enthusiasm for the role is undermined by poor employment practices, according to new research from Adecco Retail. The research found temporary workers appreciate this working solution at key junctures in their lives, but feel the on-the- job experience could be improved by better support from their employers.

The research found 63% of temps say temporary work offers flexibility, an opportunity to gain new skills and work-life balance. However, the research also found that temporary workers’ often negative experiences of being on the periphery of permanent teams are impacting their morale – and presumably their performance. 69% worried about the uncertainty of their position; 33% did not feel comfortable taking holiday and 27% cited a lack of training opportunities. Just 13% say they have the same benefits as permanent staff.

“Temporary workers are a highly valuable part of the UK workforce,” said Adecco Retail President Alex Fleming. “As working lives become longer, and the concept of a‘job for life’ declines, it is more likely that the flexibility of temporary work will be sought at some point in a long working career. Not only is the flexibility highly appealing but temporary work also offers workers a chance to increase their skill base and experience through contract roles.”

The survey included more than 1,000 temporary workers from Adecco's database.
